Lucia Jarosova is a designer, educator, and creative director working at the intersection of visual communication, exhibition design, committed to responsible design practice. Based in Graz and active internationally, she develops visual and spatial communication systems that make complex cultural, social, and scientific content accessible to diverse audiences.

With over 15 years of experience in graphic and exhibition design, her work ranges from museum and public-space projects to publications, visual identities, and research communication. Her clients and collaborators include cultural institutions, universities, and international research initiatives. Her practice is characterized by clear visual language, strong conceptual framing, and a deep commitment to inclusive and sustainable design.

Alongside her professional practice, Lucia has been a researcher at FH JOANNEUM since 2010, where she teaches graphic design, visual communication, and exhibition-related project work. She supervises student exhibitions, develops teaching formats, and contributes to research in communication design, participatory design, and sustainable design practices. Her editorial and design work for institutional publications and EU projects connects research with the public through carefully crafted visual narratives.

Lucia is also the founder and creative director of the sustainable fashion label We Are Not Sisters, which serves as a laboratory for ethical production, brand strategy, and mentoring-based leadership. This entrepreneurial experience forms both her teaching and her design work, grounding theory in real-world practice.
